Oh. My. Goodness. I almost passed out from pure joy when my new June Anthropologie Catalog came in the mail. Why you ask?! If you know me at all, you know what an Anthro-junkie I am, but this catalog literally knocked my socks off.
So, what do Hatch Show Print, My fave city ever (Austin), and my new fave singer Lenka have in common? They are all in this month's Anthropologie Catalog.
I love that they partnered with Hatch Show Print, one of the oldest working letterpress print shops in America, to design this gorgeous piece. I have loved the Hatch aesthetic since design school, and was so pleased to see it blend so beautifully with the whimsical look Anthropologie always achieves.
Also, they shot it in AUSTIN! Yay! I loved flipping through seeing some of my old haunts.
And, if this wasn't cool enough, they threw in a section of up and coming bands wearing Anthro outfits. Check out Lenka- super cute and retro and on a non-stop loop on my iPod right now. Love Her!
Oh Anthropologie, what will you come up with next? Please enjoy some excerpts from the June 09 catalog below!
Check out the coasters I decoupaged! Thanks to the lovely tutorial on Style Me Pretty (one of my fave wedding blogs!) Granted, mine aren't really wedding-y, but I wanted something a little more rock-n-roll. They are super easy to make and make great homemade gifts. You could even make them with photos of friends and family. Get the whole tutorial here. Happy crafting!
Just wanted to share some pics from Taste Addison a couple of weeks ago. We went with our friends Clay and Rebekah and had a blast! AND I got to meet Rhett Miller- lead singer of the Old 97's. I LOOOOOVE him! (Sorry G) Isn't he precious? And their show was awesome!

Just wanted to share some fun patio inspiration from Apartment Therapy. Love all the colors! They always have the best ideas. I can't wait to add an outdoor rug, some more colorful throw pillows (stripes!), and pieces with a Moroccan vibe to our patio (see next post). And how gorgeous are the huge butterflies on the wall of the last photo?! So lovely.
Happy Memorial Weekend everyone!
Happy summer!! Yay! There's nothing I love more than summer- and summer requires a good patio, right? Right. So, when we moved into our little bungalow here, I wanted the backyard to be a fun place to hang out. Enter some new patio furniture and some plants i'm going to try really hard not to kill... and wah-lah! So please enjoy some pics of our little outdoor abode.
(More house pics to come soon)
Calvin LOVES the new retro red chairs!
Ok, they sell these ceramic garden stools at Pottery Barn for $159!!! What?!! So I almost fell over when I saw these at Garden Ridge for $12! (That's right- I said $12). Yes, they were a hideous ghetto gold, but that's nothing a little spray paint can't fix. I LOVE them!
Fun Moroccan star- I want some more of these for our trees.
