Paper Gangsta

Yeah, that's my current favorite Gaga song. Love it. And its appropriate for this post cause these dresses are made out of paper. I must have stood in front of Anthropologie visually dissecting these things for at least 20 minutes. And then I started photographing them. I'm pretty sure the manager thought I was casing the joint. I couldn't help myself- they are so beautiful. Can you blame me?

Oh, Hello There... (Dear Husband...)

Well hello dear readers. Long time no see (or write...or whatever...) It seems my life has gotten in the way of my blogging life. Its bound to happen sometimes. So in the interest of being kind to myself (and realizing I am not, in fact, Wonder Woman) I am just going to jump back in. So, without further ado...

Dear Husband...

I know I keep saying that all this running is giving you too much energy (and, lets face it, making you a little silly) but I really do love it and look forward to our time together at the end of the day. There's nothing like a chat with my bestie to put things into perspective. Plus, sometimes you wear weird stuff on our runs (like a wife beater OVER all your warm clothes cause you said it would help cars see you.) Ten points for always cracking me up. 

I love that we learn new things about each other every day. And I love the way you love our little old dog. And slightly spastic cat. And our families. And me.

Dear Husband...

This weekend you:
Helped me super-clean the house (you even vacuumed under the couch), took me out for steak on Friday night cause I was too tired to cook and then made me laugh the whole time, told me I looked like Audrey Hepburn with my hair up (even though I was wearing sweatpants), ate 2 of the weird double chocolate cookies I made that didn't quite come out (thanks for the support), kissed me on the nose when you got out of bed before me (but you always do that), & told me that you wouldn't want to spend your life with anyone else (I feel EXACTLY the same way.)

You rock my socks, baby love.

What is it they say? An apple a day makes you super hot? Keeps you in your skinny jeans? Its something like that. Which is great, if you remember to eat that apple sitting on your desk. Most of the time I don't. But in the interest of my healthy new year, I'm gonna start. Oh, and drink more water.

And speaking of apples, how cute is this whimsical little apple colored case to haul around my apple laptop (see what I did there?) Oh Kate Spade, why must you be so expensive?

One Pretty Thing

Good morning lovely readers. I hope everyone had sweet dreams. I am hanging out in bed with my coffee, trying to talk myself into getting up, but its so cold in our bedroom! Ugh. This weather makes it really hard to be productive. 

My mom and I popped into Anthropologie this past weekend and I came across this adorable dish towel. It has the traditional gift given for each anniversary listed- how fun is that? As a newlywed, I am still totally enamored with all things that celebrate marriage. I think this little pretty will have to be mine.

The gift for the first anniversary is paper and I already have an awesome idea. I promise to share after I give the hubs his gift.
